An interesting, well-detailed composition depicting a domestic room interior, it is a grand yet cosy room, with a pair of inviting, brightly coloured chairs framing the scene. Signed lower left - indistinct. In good vintage condition, with signs of light, cosmetic wear to the vintage, wooden frame, which only further benefit its vintage look. Frame Size: 21 3/4" x 18 3/4" or 45 cm x 37 1/2 cm Image Size: 17 3/4" x 14 3/4" or 39 cm x 32 1/2 cm. This is a lovely and masterfully done painting, which I bought from a very reputable antique dealer a few years ago.
The painting is in excellent condition with unique and interesting composition and elegant colour palette.
